Clean out your closets and gather up your “stuff”!  Our CHAPTER YARD SALE will be the morning of Friday April 6.  Please pre-price your things.  All proceeds will be donated to our Chapter.  Ann Parson, 782-3904, is recruiting volunteers to help the day of the sale.

AND YOUR NAME IS?

Alicia McClure, Membership Chair, has spent a lot of time, energy and money on preparing OUR NAME TAGS!  My responsibility and yours is to be sure that we replace them, after the meeting, in the envelop in the alphabetical box at the “sign-in” table.  Remembering each others name is made much easier with a nice name tag.  The temporary stick-on name tag will be your choice if your name tag is not in it’s envelop.

COMPASSION AND RESPECT

What a wonderful ministry to visit with persons who live in a nursing home or assisted living!  BOB AND HOPE SCANTLIN AND JESSE AND RUTH PUCKETT delivered  magazines left over from our January sale and visited with residents at two homes.  EDWIN PHELPS and others visit veterans monthly in several rest homes.  BAUN AND LUCINDA EVERLY, TOM AND MARY BODKIN, BOBBY AND CLYDE MARIE BIBBS, AND DOROTHY ROUNDTREE sing every Wednesday at a rest home and once a month at a retirement center.  If this is “loving action” that you would enjoy being a part of, please contact any of these persons:

Bob Parson, Chapter President, 782-3904

Edwin Phelps, Chapter Member and Liaison with the American Legion and VFW, 842-6451
